Essentially, International Press (IP) Reporters serve as journalists for the Model United Nations (MUN). Two reporters will be assigned to each of the eight committees, where they will listen to the discussions and speeches of all delegates. In addition to this, IP members, like actual journalists, will be required to draft articles, op-eds, and other forms of writing that must be submitted on time. On the third day, reporters will also have the opportunity to question the delegates of their respective committees about the statements made over the past three days during a press conference. IP Photographers will be assigned to committees and will capture images of committee sessions and other gatherings of delegates throughout the three-day event.
